We are committed to not only employing staff for our various programmes but in investing in our community. In this regard we have relaunched our Vusithemba project which is aimed at imparting skills and knowledge to the unemployed thus improving community standard of living. The project ethos is to instil hope while we train the unemployed in baking, gardening and sewing skills. We have a testimony from project beneficiaries and the pictures below tell a huge story.
It has been fulfilling to see the determination in the group who without receiving any stipend and walking the distance showed determination to learn the various skills. There are already feeling the difference in their lives. Some through waking up in the morning have found new purpose in life, have regained employment as they were recalled by previous employers or found new jobs while those remaining in the project have gained skills and have started deriving income from the profit generated from their produce.
